Each project gets a writer who already knows the form and the readers you are writing for. Tell us what you have in mind and we will match you with one.
Most people who call us about a memoir are not short of material. They have the stories, the photographs and the years behind them. What they do not have is the six months of writing it would take to put all of it in order.
Your ghostwriter interviews you, records every conversation and builds a chapter outline from what you actually said. Nothing gets drafted until you have read that outline and told us it is right.
You can tell your whole life or one chapter of it. Families often use the same process to record a parent's story while there is still time to sit down and ask questions.
You already explain this on stage, on calls and to every new client. A business book takes that explanation and puts it in one place, in an order a reader can follow from the first page to the last.
We start with interviews about your method, your clients and the results you can speak to honestly. Case studies are written the way you would tell them, and anything you cannot back up stays out of the book.
The finished book is yours to hand out at events, sell, or send ahead of a meeting. Your name is on the cover, ours is not, and we take no share of your royalties.
Some writers come to us with a finished plot and a full cast. Others have a premise they have been turning over for years and no idea what chapter two looks like. Both are a fine place to start.
Your writer works inside the genre you are writing for, so the pacing, the chapter length and the voice fit what those readers expect. You approve the outline before a single scene is drafted.
Chapters arrive one at a time. You read them, tell us what is not working, and we revise before moving on to the next one.
A self-help book lives or dies on whether the reader can actually follow it, which means your method has to be broken into steps before any writing starts.
We interview you about how you work with people, then shape it into chapters with exercises, examples and a clear order. If a step only makes sense in person, we find a way to put it on the page.
You keep every right to the material, including the workbooks, talks and courses you build from it later.
Picture books look simple, and that is exactly why they are hard to write. Every word has to earn its place, and the story has to hold up when it is read out loud for the fortieth time.
We write to the age group you are aiming for, with the page count and rhythm that suits it. Illustration support is available, and you see character sketches before anything is finalized.
Early readers and chapter books follow the same process, with the vocabulary matched to the reading level you are writing for.
A sample of the covers from projects we have worked on. Titles, genres and cover styles vary, because every one of them started with a different author and a different reason for writing.
